Reviews
These guys are ARTISTS of Alghero 😌 We tried more stuff from the menu and I almost think you can’t go wrong with anything.. Really unique experience -> this place. I hope they will always stay in “quality over quantity” mode 🙏🏼 Best place to eat in Alghero, maybe in all the Italy 🙂🇮🇹 Book the table and enjoy this playful and delicious food.
I can honestly say I have never had food as delicious as this in my life. Coming from England it was a pleasure to try all the varying dishes. The staff are so friendly and sending many compliments to the chef. All dishes were unreal and recommend all to try a variety in particular the tuna steak!
Everything was perfect. The octopus was great but small part was chewy. Very good restaurant I definitely recommend
Thank you guys for serving us fantastic food. Tuna balls apetizer was my top of this year 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The restaurant is hidden, don ´t expect fancy interiour, but the food is excelent, made with love. Piccola Cucine is my MUST in Alghero.
To be honest, I had very high expectations after reading the reviews and I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, they serve good food but it is not excellent or worth the 4.8 stars it currently has.
So, where to start- for primi we ordered shrimp pachero and Nero spaghetti - which were quite good !
The secundi, however let the air out of the balloon - not really flavourful , a bit bland for our taste..
The service was very friendly and helpful.
The ambiance was not really there.. you are seated next to the main street so you have cars honking, blaring past you.. or insane amount of flies on our food , you couldn't eat without waving away flies with one hand.. that's just irritating..
So all in all, I think this restaurant serves good food but might be a bit overrated.
Very underwhelmed unfortunately. Was expecting an amazing meal as according to reviews but the food took long and the main pastas looked beautiful but they were barely room temperature. Upon reheating it was much better but still not as I was expecting. Additionally the loud tvs outside don’t do anything for the atmosphere. The chef was very sweet and offered us a local shot and apologised but as far as food goes, I wouldn’t recommend.
From appetiser to dessert, they were all amazing and surprising. We had mixed appetiser, cagnulari (local Alghero) wine, oyster pasta, paccheri shrimps, 2 seadas, a cheesecake with berry. They even gave us free mirto during the dessert. Despite the busy staff, they managed to be attentive to all guests; it was an excellent service and experience!
Absolutely delicious. A must visit. Defintiley book on their website because it does fill up! I managed to reserve a spot day of
